BioAngels™ Membership

BioAngels members invest their own money, either direct or through the members-only, open-ended Investment Pool. We screen companies, hear pitches, conduct due diligence, and determine our investments as a group – bringing together the deep and broad domain expertise of our members in an engaged, collegial process.

In addition to monthly meetings, members of BioAngels participate in a number of activities, including:

• Participating in monthly screening sessions to review applicant companies
• Joining Due Diligence teams and assisting the diligence process
• Participating in regular internal committees (Data Analytics, Membership, etc.)
• Sitting as a panelist for 1st Pitch Life Science Office Hours, for pre-investment companies seeking feedback
• Attending members-only educational programming (“BioAngels U”), led by members and sponsors and covering topics of interest to our members
• Attending our Annual Summit in October, an in-person, day-long open house event for members, sponsors, portfolio companies and guests

Our members are active, engaged participants in the work of the group. In addition to investment, members find a community of like-minded individuals and opportunities to grow their skills and knowledge in areas that often improve their daily work.
